Based on recommendations of the American Optometric Association and the CDC, to help stop the spread of COVID-19, we have made the difficult decision to close our office to all non-emergency care beginning Tuesday March 24th until further notice.

Providing emergency eye care will allow us to care for our patients and reduce the burden that these would place on hospital emergency departments. A doctor will be available for red eyes, sudden vision changes, eye injuries and other urgent issues. You may call our office at 540-369-3482 for instructions on how to reach the doctor on call.

If you have an existing appointment for your yearly eye exam, you will be contacted to reschedule when we resume normal patient care.

If you have glasses or contact lens orders that are ready for pickup, we will be contacting you to arrange pickup at our front door.

We are offering to extend the expiration date on contact lens prescriptions for up to 3 months for current patients. If you will need to order contact lenses or other supplies typically purchased at our office you may call us and leave a detailed message so we can work to accommodate your needs. We will be checking our voicemail regularly.

At this time, our top priority is the health and well-being of our patients and team. By doing our part, we hope to help to shorten the effects of COVID-19 in our community. Our patients are of the utmost importance to us and as such we are looking forward to resuming a regular schedule just as soon as we feel it is safe for everyone. Thank you for your continued support and understanding in these difficult times. Please stay healthy and enjoy this remarkable opportunity to spend time with your family, at home.
